				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em><strong>Do you ever have days where your energy is dragging and you aren&#8217;t sure why?</strong> </em>I find myself running into this issue a lot and whether it&#8217;s due to lack of sleep from the baby waking up in the middle of the nigh or from a crazy hard workout, I try to re-evaluate the last 24 hours so that I can figure out why my energy is low.</p>
<p>The first thing I usually think about was the last time I ate. I usually don&#8217;t last more than 3 hours, and if I do, it&#8217;s probably because I overate at my last meal.  Sometimes your body craves seconds, right?</p>
<p>So before I keep rambling I wanted to share some tips with you on how I keep my energy up. Hopefully my advice can help you stay away from that 2pm slump and steer clear of those sugar cravings or pick me ups.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>TIPS TO KEEP YOUR ENERGY UP:</strong></span></p>
<ol class="_jYe">
<li class="_AXc"><strong>Control stress.</strong> Lets face it, whether we like it or not we all are faced with stressful situations. I personally think it&#8217;s how you manage your stress that helps you overcome any problem in life. When I&#8217;m less stressed I definitely have more energy. Choose an activity; yoga, workouts, meditation, whatever it is that can help keep your stress under control.</li>
<li class="_AXc"><strong>Don&#8217;t overwork your body.</strong> That means mentally or physically. I&#8217;ve done them both on several occasions and man does it wipe me out. I&#8217;ve learned what my body can handle, both physically and mentally, and I take breaks when I know I&#8217;ve done too much.</li>
<li class="_AXc"><strong>Exercise</strong>. I don&#8217;t know what I would do without exercise, I might just go crazy. It&#8217;s my outlet for everything. If I&#8217;m stressed I workout, if I have energy I workout and when I need a mood boost, I workout. Basically it&#8217;s an important part of my life and I can&#8217;t live without it. Oh yeah and when I&#8217;m tired, I workout. Is that a shocker? I find on the days I&#8217;m exhausted in the morning, a quick workout gets my energy pumping. If you are questioning it, give it a try and let me know how you feel after!!</li>
<li class="_AXc"><strong>Sleep.</strong> Wow I didn&#8217;t realize how much my body needed sleep until I had kids. I need 6+ hours total to function, but I find I&#8217;m at my best on 7 hours. Anything less then 6 and my energy is at rock bottom. That&#8217;s why I make sleep a priority. Rather then staying up late watching tv and wasting time on Facebook, I go to bed.</li>
<li class="_AXc"><strong>Eat nutritious foods for energy.</strong> I really think the cleaner you eat the better you feel. Your body needs a steady amount of nutrients to function properly, we all know how we feel when we skip a meal. I even see it with my daughter, she gets HANGRY. It&#8217;s so important to keep blood sugar stable so we don&#8217;t crave the bad stuff or overeat at meals. I try to stick with 5-6 small meals every 3 hours. I&#8217;m not perfect, but when I stay close to that timeframe, I feel my best.</li>
<li class="_AXc"><strong>Water, Water, Water!!!</strong> That&#8217;s all I drink, besides coffee and you know wine. But seriously, water is so necessary and most people don&#8217;t drink enough. Did you know that when you are low on water one of your body&#8217;s first signs is FATIGUE?</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>These tips sound easy to keep up with right? The most important way that I personally can keep my energy running high all day long is by eating nutritious foods. To do this, I make sure to:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Take inventory about what I have in my fridge so I don&#8217;t run out of healthy options (prepared cooked meats, yogurts, string cheese, hand fruits, cut veggies, etc)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Meal prep foods on the weekend so you have foods you can easily grab and go with no excuses!</strong></li>
<li><strong>Keep healthy foods handy at all times (in your purse, car, diaper bag, gym bag, etc) My diaper bag/purse essentials are a protein bar, protein shake packet, nuts, and granola bars. </strong></li>
</ul>
<p>I usually meal prep on Sundays. I don&#8217;t go overboard because I don&#8217;t have a ton of free time with the kids around 24/7 but I do what works for me. I know that if I have my protein sources prepared, my weekly lunches will be easier. I usually prepare a ton of either grilled chicken or pulled chicken. I will have this every day for lunch in salads, sandwiches or rice bowls. It makes my life SO much easier.I swear by it.</p>
<p>I keep a lot of hand fruit available (apples, bananas, peaches, grapes) and veggies that are easy to grab and go (sliced cucumbers &amp; peppers, and baby carrots.) For healthy fats, string cheeses and nuts are my go to and my favorite of all time is large heaping scoops of peanut butter <img src="http://thefitskool.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" class="wp-smiley" /></p>
<p>On a different food related note, I hear this question a lot: What’s your favorite pre/post workout snack?</p>
<p>To be honest, I almost always have a protein shake AFTER my workout. It&#8217;s easy and it&#8217;s portable. I bring them with me so I can have it right after a workout. It helps keep my energy up and it also helps me with post workout fatigue. When I skip my shake I almost always feel super tired after, but if I drink one, I never feel like that!</p>
<p>My pre workout snack varies because most of the time I workout after breakfast or after dinner because of my work schedule. If I workout in the morning, I eat a breakfast consisting of eggs, healthy fats (coconut oil, avocado or cheese) some sort of veggie (spinach and broccoli are my favorites) and potatoes or toast. I always have <strong>CARBS</strong> at breakfast and a good amount of protein. My workouts usually follow about <strong>1 hour</strong> after my breakfast.</p>
<p>Some days I&#8217;m in a rush and if my workout is later in the morning or in the afternoon I will have a protein bar or something similar so I can get an energy boost before or after a workout. Some of my favorites are RXBAR, Quest, Oatmega and I can&#8217;t wait to try the new <a href="https://gomacro.com/shop/">macro vegan protein bar.</a></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I have officially 1 week until my due date. To say my level of excitement and anxiousness is low would be an understatement. I&#8217;m currently impatient and trying to do whatever I can to keep my mind side-tracked and my body busy so that I don&#8217;t think about it. The waiting game is one of the hardest parts of pregnancy and I didn&#8217;t have much of it when I was pregnant with Ava because she arrived early.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">SOO rather then ramble on about that stuff lets talk about some food. I decided to share my food journal from Tuesday (yesterday).</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I woke up at 6am from my internal alarm clock. I came downstairs drank some water and poured myself a little iced coffee. While I started to make my eggs, I snacked on a couple bites of this chocolate chip muffin. I find that a little sugar in the morning helps settle my stomach . (or at least lets pretend that&#8217;s why I ate it)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>BREAKFAST</strong>: I had 2 eggs, sauteed spinach and potatoes. Plus a piece of toast which is not pictured.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">We weren&#8217;t there too long but I did a quick 30 minute cardio workout on the elliptical and some stretching.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>SNACK</strong>: After we left the YMCA I ate a <strong>Cookie Dough</strong> <strong>Larabar.</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava and I then took a trip to the library. I promised her we could return some books and get new ones. We usually go there every 2 weeks and she loves it.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>LUNCH</strong> I decided to eat some leftovers from my mom&#8217;s cooking on the 4th. I had a <strong>BBQ pulled chicken sandwich with coleslaw and some potato salad</strong>. UMM yum. This meal totally hit the spot and I loved that I didn&#8217;t need to think about what to eat. It was right in front of me when I opened the fridge.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava was quite tired from all the weekend fun but she wouldn&#8217;t nap. It seemed like something was the matter because she had no appetite. Rather then force her to try to sleep I let her lay on the floor and watch some TV.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>SNACK:</strong> around 2pm I was hungry. I had a doctors appointment as well so I quickly snacked on a <strong>string cheese</strong> while I was in the waiting room.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Pretty soon it was time to make dinner. I wasn&#8217;t feeling anything as usual but we needed something so I opened up the freezer to see what we had.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>DINNER</strong>: I made a simple meal of <strong>fish filets, french fries and cucumber slices</strong>. This meal was simple but exactly what my body needed.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I left for Boot Camp around 6pm. I left feeling great but a sweaty mess. I just love my class and the energy everyone brings. I participated in some of the workout, I figured it would only help speed up this labor process right?!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>POST WORKOUT SNACK:</strong> I refueled with a <strong>Quest bar</strong>.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;">I can&#8217;t believe there are 14 days left until we meet our little boy. Obviously he can come sooner or later but the fact that it&#8217;s not so far away is pretty exciting and the anticipation is really making the days go by slower.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I&#8217;m trying to keep busy and not think about it but my mind won&#8217;t stop thinking about how my labor will start and when it will happen. I guess being through it before makes me know a little about what to expect where as before I had NO clue.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Anyways, rather then ramble about my thoughts I&#8217;m going to share my food journal with you from Monday.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">My food choices have been all over the place and I find myself eating more carbs and snack stuff.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Monday morning I woke up around 6am, drank some water and a little iced coffee while I started making my breakfast. I had <strong>Eggs, spinach and toast</strong> and kept it simple before Group power class.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I was super excited to teach class and even a little nervous as to how I would do but class went great. I felt good, I never struggled and I made it through without any issues.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">After class I ate a<strong> banana and a square bar</strong> (which Ava took a bite of) I had to open a second bar so she could eat one. She loves them!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">We headed to target after our snack. I had a return to make and figured we could shop around for a bit. My dad decided to come with us since he was off from work that day. We ended up buying lots of snacks and food, go figure right? While we were shopping through the store I snacked on <strong>peanut butter crackers</strong> because I started to get a headache. I figured I needed something salty. I also chugged 32oz of water and that helped a ton.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">After we got home I immediately ate because I was worried my headache would come back, but luckily it didn&#8217;t. I had a<strong> salad with chicken and a small slice of cheese pizza</strong> that was leftover from the weekend.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava and I lounged around after lunch, I did some cleaning and organizing around the house and took advantage of the free time.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I ate a <strong>yogurt parfait and some pretze</strong>ls before we headed over to my parents for the late afternoon. We hung out on their deck and Ava played with bubbles for like 30 minutes. We bought a bubble gun and it was so much fun. I even enjoyed using it myself.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I decided to eat this <strong>chicken francese, veggies &amp; potatoes</strong> meal. I only ate half of this, it was pretty good but the chicken wasn&#8217;t my favorite.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">It seems like I&#8217;m eating every 2 hours these days, but it works so I&#8217;m going with it. After a late night walk with Cooper we came home and I whipped up a batch of <strong>applesauce brownies</strong> and had a small bowl. I wasn&#8217;t craving chocolate or anything but I just felt like dessert!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I am so excited for the ultrasound I have this morning at 10am, but first I need to teach a class and train a client so I will try to be patient for that appointment. I believe this is the last ultrasound I will get until we get to meet our little guy&#8230;. <strong>WOW</strong>!!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and counting down the days until my due date&#8230;. 42. That number keeps getting smaller and my excitement keeps growing. I want to meet this baby boy so bad but first I need to get to full term (37 weeks) and then he can come whenever.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">My food has been pretty healthy these past few weeks but my meals have been random and sometimes not complete meals. I tend to eat a little here and there rather then big meals. My belly gets full a little quicker so smaller more frequent meals does the trick!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">My morning started off as usual since I had to teach the 730am Group Power class at the YMCA.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I ate<strong> 2 eggs scrambled with spinach and potatoes,</strong> I also had a couple bites of a <strong>chocolate chip</strong> <strong>muffin</strong>. I was feeling a little nauseous and for some reason sugar does the trick!!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I wasn&#8217;t sure if I would have a normal size group or if people would sleep in on the holiday but most of my regulars were there and we were excited for a workout.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">We decided to eat at home since the weather was still iffy to go out. I had a salad with <strong>greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, BBQ grilled chicken, honey mustard dressing and sunflower</strong> seeds! This has been one of my favorite spring salads lately.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava was exhausted from our weekend of fun in the sun at the beach and decided to take a nap which was totally fine with me. I was tired myself! So I spent time laying on the couch and relaxing. She woke up around 3pm and I had a quick<strong> yogurt parfait</strong> snack. Geek yogurt with blackberries grapes &amp; strawberries plus a little granola on top.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">My sweet tooth kicked in around 830pm and I decided to make a quick batch of somewhat healthy dark chocolate brownies. I used applesauce to replace some of the oil&#8230; and they were delicious!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">This little boy has me craving chocolate and I&#8217;m not complaining!! This <strong>brownie sundae</strong> totally hit the spot.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;">Monday was a busy, hectic, exciting, exhausting, all in all CRAZY day for this pregnant lady. I&#8217;m officially 33 weeks and pregnancy exhaustion is setting in&#8230;. or is it? I&#8217;m not sure if it&#8217;s 3rd trimester symptoms or exercise, or chasing my monkey toddler around all day but something got me on Monday and my 3pm my body was like whatttt is going on?!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I figured I would share <strong>my food journal with you from Monday</strong> because it was on the fly eating and I honestly had a hard time keeping up with my calorie burn. It&#8217;s usually so easy to over eat but on this day I couldn&#8217;t keep up.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">My day started out early. I woke up at 6am and I knew I had to be organized and ready to teach so I quickly got my bag packed and my breakfast made.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>2 eggs, sautéed spinach &amp; pan fried potatoes.</strong> (thank goodness for leftover potatoes) I also had a few sips of iced coffee.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I was out the door at 7:05 am to teach Group Power. I had to end class a few minutes early to head to an ultrasound so I tried to cram as much of the workout as I could in 52 minutes. We did great and boy was I sweaty and tired!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I rushed to my Doctors appointment and scarfed down a <strong>banana and this SQUARE BAR</strong> in the car.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I was so happy to hear that the baby was GREAT <img src="http://thefitskool.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="wp-smiley" /> It was even better to see my little guy who was sucking his thumb and covering his face. I was sad we couldn&#8217;t get a decent picture but that&#8217;s not what we were there for. We wanted to know that he was making proper gains and continuing to grow strong which he was. (I&#8217;ll give you a better update tomorrow!)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">After my appointment I came home to pick Ava up and head back to the YMCA for class #2.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I was tired after this class and all Ava wanted to do was run around and roll around the floor because I wanted to leave and she didn&#8217;t. I had to bribe her to get her close to the garage by saying we can go look at the pool through the window. Thank goodness for little tricks.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">We got home and I shoveled down this salad from <a href="http://www.firehsedeli.com"><strong>Firehouse deli!</strong></a>! UMMM amazing.</p>

I also had a piece of avocado toast for some extra calories &amp; healthy fats.</p>

I mean this girl was climbing things she shouldn&#8217;t have been, throwing toys, spilling water, slamming doors, CLIMBING OUT OF HER CRIB basically not following any rules. I stayed calm and tried to distract her but she would pull away from me, moan, kick, yell, and tell me no. I was too tired to argue so I put her in the stroller and took Cooper for a walk.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The last thing i wanted to do was move my legs, all i wanted to do was sit on the couch but I knew she would be strapped in and fine. She drank some milk and ate a couple oatmeal cookies and she seemed happy as could be. We strolled and I let Cooper smell every piece of grass out there, because I really didn&#8217;t feel like walking. Ava smiled and waved at the mailman and all was good.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">We got home and the chaos returned. I snacked on an <strong>orange</strong>.</p>

I had 1/2 a piece of <strong>cheese</strong> <strong>pizza</strong>. Sorry I didn&#8217;t snap a pic but it was eaten cold right out of the fridge. My body needed more carbs!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I am happy to say that Monday I woke up ready to tackle the day.  I was feeling more energized then I had been the past few Mondays! I had a large glass of water and some decaf Iced coffee to start my day.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Breakfast was whipped up quickly with a leftover <strong>baked potato</strong> that I sliced and pan fried, then <strong>scrambled some eggs &amp; Spinach</strong>. (this picture is recycled.. I eat this meal a lot)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> After Group Power I was a sweaty mess, hungry, &amp; fatigued. Maybe I pushed a little too hard???</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I quickly ate an under ripe banana, it wasn&#8217;t the best but I needed some food asap. I picked Ava up from the childcare and we went home for a quick snack.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I made a piece of <strong>toast</strong> and topped it with <strong>egg whites &amp; some bacon</strong>. This was AMAZING and simple. Have I told you that I love bacon??????? I believe since I became pregnant we have had bacon just about every other week. I probably should just buy more then one package at a time because I feel like I&#8217;m always buying it! I also ate about 4 handfuls of Ava&#8217;s plain <strong>cheerios</strong>. I was feeling the carbs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">We headed back to the YMCA for my second class. It was another sweaty one and I was surprised at how tired my body was after!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Again, I went home starving&#8230;. I quickly ate a piece of this <strong>chicken</strong>.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">This was the most random broken up lunch I have had in a long time. Food really isn&#8217;t appealing to me so I think that&#8217;s why I chose random items from the fridge/pantry and my hunger which forced me to eat easily accessible items!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">My body was pretty wiped like I said earlier and when Ava napped so did I. So much for waking up energized right?? I think 3rd trimester pregnancy fatigue has taken over.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I woke up starving and thirsty. I quickly made a <strong>yogurt bowl with berries &amp; granola</strong>.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">It was delicious and I ate it in practically 3 bites.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">We played outside for a bit while the sun was shining and then I decided to make some dinner.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">aI think a craving for red meat struck because I was feeling a Beef Chili and it totally hit the spot. This <strong>bowl had rice, beef, pinto beans, tomatoes, cheese &amp; avocado</strong>.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I scooped it into some romaine lettuce wraps and also enjoyed a few too many <strong>tortilla chips. </strong>This dinner left me feeling full and satisfied.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Marc and I took Cooper to the Dog Park while Ava went to run errands with my mom. It was nice to give Cooper some one on one attention!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The rest of the evening was spent cleaning up the house and organizing for the next day. I didn&#8217;t really have an appetite for a snack but I ate some <strong>strawberries</strong> out of the fridge</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Mondays always seem like the day that my body wants to sleep in. Do you feel the same?? Ava slept kinda bad this weekend and was up early both days but go figure she sleeps in on the day I need to be up at 6am. I love how that works.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I started the day with a large glass of water and a cup of<strong> iced decaf coffee.</strong> Yes, it was leftover from the weekend, I&#8217;m pathetic.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I did however enjoy my breakfast. <strong>2 eggs, sautéed spinach in olive oil &amp; sliced potatoes</strong> that were cooked in a pan.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I taught Group Power for the first time in over a week. I was so excited to get back to a routine but also nervous as to how my body would respond. I lifted lighter and felt great throughout the entire class.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">At 8:45am my body was like give me food. I had a <strong>banana</strong> on the way to pick Ava up from Daycare.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Once we got home I wanted to try this <strong>Square Bar</strong> which was peanut butter flavor covered in chocolate.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Little miss Ava wanted some and I hate to say it but I was sad to give up 3 bites of this bar. It was yummy.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I was super thankful Ava took a nice long nap for me. My body was wiped, I did some computer work and ended up taking a 20 minute nap myself. I really didn&#8217;t want to but my body fought me!!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I woke up feeling groggy, thirsty and hungry. Bad combo..</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">After I got my energy back I headed to the grocery store with Ava to grab some food to make dinner and get her some more milk. It seems like I am always buying milk!!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I whipped up a simple and fast dinner. <strong>Grilled Turkey Burgers, Baked Sweet Potatoes &amp; Broccoli</strong> with olive oil. This was a pretty healthy meal considering nothing looked appealing to me!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I couldn&#8217;t wait to relax on the couch this evening. My body is definitely a little weak after that stomach bug so I made sure to rest when I could throughout the day.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I think you will understand what I&#8217;m talking about through my food choices from Monday. They are RANDOM and weird to me but I thought I would share anyways.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">When my alarm went off I wanted to sleep longer. Usually I pop right up but Monday I was struggling. Probably because my crazy dog woke up at 240am to go out and pee but then refused to come inside and instead howled at a ball that was in the brooke behind our house. Needless to say I chased him around the yard for 5 minutes and basically did sprints until I managed to grab him and pull him in the house!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I wasn&#8217;t happy that I was up for an hour in the middle of the night.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">After doing computer work, blog stuff and paying bills I needed a snack around 3pm. To be honest I wasn&#8217;t in the mood for anything. Nothing looked appealing in the fridge so I chose a<strong> yogurt parfait</strong>. It&#8217;s always satisfying and filling.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava and I took Cooper for a long 25 minute walk, it was beautiful out and he needs the exercise daily. When I got home I didn&#8217;t really want to make dinner but Marc asked for meatballs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">So I made some <strong>turkey meatballs with pasta and sauce</strong>. Plus some <strong>brussel sprouts</strong> on the side. It was actually really good!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">At around 7:00pm my body had enough and I sat down on the couch. I literally didn&#8217;t want to get up but I did so that I could put Ava to bed and clean up the messy house.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I was craving chocolate but didn&#8217;t want to give in to any unhealthy treats so I whipped up some <strong>oatmeal</strong> and threw a 1/2 scoop of shakeology and some peanut butter in it.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Mondays are always busy for me. I rarely have time to sit down until Ava naps around 1:30 and by then, this mama can&#8217;t wait to put her feet up for a bit.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">My morning started off with my usual <strong>2 eggs, spinach with olive oil &amp; potatoes.</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I taught Group Power at 730am and for some reason my body was spent at the end. I didn&#8217;t go heavier in weights but I was sweaty and my muscles were wiped.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava and I headed back to the YMCA around 10:15 for me second class. This girl was full of energy and basically ran in the building. She&#8217;s getting harder to keep up with these days.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">After my class we headed home and decided to eat some lunch on our front porch.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">It was beautiful out. I had 2 lovely lunch guests and we thoroughly enjoyed eating outside and getting some fresh air.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I ate a <strong>BBQ Chicken salad</strong> with <em>romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli slaw &amp; honey mustard dressing</em>.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">This salad is amazing and I&#8217;m slightly obsessed with this honey mustard dressing by bolthouse farms. I have had this salad 3 times in the last week!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Salads are working so well for me right now and if I&#8217;m craving any healthy food I&#8217;m going with it.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I have a little story about that orange&#8230;.. I pulled an orange out of the fridge and I swear I put it on the table. I&#8217;m pretty sure Ava hid it on me and I couldn&#8217;t find it anywhere. Luckily we had more in the fridge and I ended up finding it 6 hours later behind our radiator in the kitchen!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">My afternoon snack came on the earlier side. Probably because salads are temporarily filling if you ask me and there weren&#8217;t any carbs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I decided to have a bowl of <strong>oatmeal</strong> which I haven&#8217;t had in a while. I had it with a scoop of <strong>peanut butter and strawberries</strong> on top.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Dinner was a simple fast meal. <strong>Pesto baked salmon, baked sweet potatoes, &amp; asparagus. </strong>I ate a ton of asparagus before I took this picture!! oops.</p>
