I couldn’t help but be excited myself.

I took a bunch of pictures this weekend but I also put my phone down a lot to just enjoy the time with my family.

Here is a quick Photo Recap of our Easter filled weekend:

We went to an Easter Egg hunt at the Glenville Fire Department in Greenwich.

It was a great event for the kids.

Ava enjoyed TOO much candy & munchkins and eventually her belly hurt but she loved it.

She won a kids raffle easter basket that had more toys then we knew what to do with.

She played with sidewalk chalk.

On Easter Sunday she couldn’t wait to see what the Easter bunny hid for her.

Especially the eggs around the house!

Cooper was just as excited for the hunt.

We basically had an ALL day Easter egg hunt for her at our house and at my parents.

She was beyond EXCITED when she found eggs.

It was such a great day and I can’t help but smile when I think of how happy she was.

We even managed to get a group picture and a big smile from Ava!

I decided to skip my post Friday.. We had way too much going on and I needed a day to catch up. This weekend was a long one, and I was lucky enough to spend the entire weekend with family.

I practiced Group Power

Once at home and once at the YMCA with Coworkers

We celebrated my younger brother’s 27th Birthday with takeout food from Dinosaur BBQ for dinner.

We indulged in delicious smokey BBQ!

and Ice cream cake for dessert.

Easter Sunday was a slow start, we ate breakfast and hung around the house.

This was Ava’s 2nd Easter and its crazy to see the difference in size just one year later. She was a little peanut.

I hid some easter eggs in the house for Ava. They were filled with Mickey Mouse stickers and as soon as she opened them she smiled.

Around 12 we headed to my parents for the day. We ate a delicious Easter lunch. I have no picture of the food! Think I was hungry?

It turned out to be a great day. We were able to hang outside for a bit, go for a walk, and play with Ava!

It was nice to spend the entire weekend with family.

These pics are as close as we got to taking a decent family picture!! Maybe next year.

What do you eat on Easter?

I was out of work last week for several days with a terrible cold that is still lingering, but I am extremely happy to be feeling better. Sometimes we take for granted feeling good!

Over the last couple of days I have taken Cooper for several walks outside and the fresh air seemed to help with my cold!

On Easter Sunday we had lots of fun thanks to good food, family time, and of course Ava.

The Easter Bunny treated Ava well. She got some cute outfits, shoes, a stuffed bunny, a book, and some toys

(Cooper had to sneak in and check out her basket, sorry buddy no chocolate for you)

This Family photo came out great because Cooper is looking so regal!

My Monday morning started off with Group Power… it felt great to sweat a little bit. My body was ready to get back to working out after doing nothing this past week.

I used light weights and made sure not to over-do it.

I still managed to get my heart rate up to 171 and burn 497 calories.

Post workout I had a chocolate protein shake and a banana to re-fuel before my next client. It has been a great start to my Monday and I can’t wait to get outside and walk Cooper later, the weather is supposed to be great!
