<p style="text-align: center;">Monday was a somewhat busy day for me but I managed to throw together balanced meals!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Here goes:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I woke up around 6am, chugged some <strong>water</strong> and drank a 1/2 cup of <strong>coffee</strong> to get going. Monday was the first day of our new Group Power workout!! I couldn&#8217;t wait to teach the new workout and man am I sore!!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Anyways for breakfast, I whipped up a couple over <strong>easy eggs, plus sauteed power greens (kale, spinach, swiss chard) and easy potato hash browns.</strong> Delicious, simple &amp; filling&#8230; win!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Post Group Power I refueled with a <strong>Vanilla Protein Shake, a banana, and an Oatmega Bar!! </strong>I&#8217;m loving these bars lately. They are filled with Grass fed whey protein, omegas and oats! I love it.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I taught my Fit For Life class at 1030am , picked Ava up at my parents house and then devoured some leftovers. I had a leftover <strong>Quinoa salad with veggies, grilled chicken &amp; avocado</strong>. It was yummy and I wish their were more.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">After lunch Ava napped and I did some coaching work on the computer. That&#8217;s usually my routine and I like being able to get that work done in the afternoon. Once Ava woke up from her nap I made myself a <strong>Chocolate Shakeology with PB2 powder, &amp; almond milk</strong>&#8230; sooo good. I ate some strawberries too (not pictured)</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I love my sleep and while I don&#8217;t ever get more then 8 or 8 1/2 hours I still need it to function like a normal human being, so it&#8217;s great to say that we are all pretty rested around here.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">My morning started off with a glass of water and a <strong>1/2 cup of french vanilla coffee</strong> brewed at home. I made myself an e<strong>gg scramble with egg whites, spinach and olive oil and then topped with an over easy egg and some toast</strong>. It was delicious.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Around 9am I had a banana because I knew I would be doing a short workout so I wanted a little something extra for an energy boost.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">After I finished a circuit workout I refueled with a <strong>Shakeology protein drink and 2 scoops of peanut butter</strong>. It&#8217;s my go to snack combo!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I&#8217;m one of those people that hates deciding what to eat. If you could tell me my food line-up for the day I would just follow it but believe me I really don&#8217;t like making food decisions. My afternoon snack was lame.. I was hungry but my brain couldn&#8217;t put anything together. I snacked on some <strong>snap peas, carrots, an apple, and some almonds</strong>. Believe it or not I was full.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">After getting myself organized for boot camp I whipped together a quick &amp; easy light dinner. <strong>Pulled Pork, broccoli slaw, zucchini, &amp; sweet potatoes</strong>. YUMMY.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Boot camp class was awesome and I&#8217;m loving the new set up we have with Rope training, heavier kettle bells and a longer circuit. The positive feedback from the group means its a good workout!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">After Boot camp I ate a <strong>Quest Cookie Dough Protein Bar &amp; Mango</strong>. It was too good and I was happy to get in some extra protein <img src="http://thefitskool.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" class="wp-smiley" /></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;">Well, I titled this post vacation eats but technically it was our last day of vacation (sunday) and we ate all our meals at home so my food journal isn&#8217;t anything fancy but it&#8217;s worth sharing.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I thought I would shake things up a bit,I&#8217;m linking up with the <strong>What I Ate Wednesday</strong> <a href="http://www.peasandcrayons.com">Crew</a> to share with you my food journal from <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Sunday</strong></span>!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Our human alarm clock (Ava) woke us up at around <strong>5:45am AGAIN.</strong> This girl&#8217;s biological clock needs to be reset because we need more sleep haha. Marc and I look at each other like &#8220;are you gonna go get her??&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">We had been rotating so that over our mini vacation we could each get some extra sleep. I&#8217;m one of those people that once your eyes open I&#8217;m wide awake and can&#8217;t go back to sleep. So I got up and started my day.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">We had some leftover<strong> iced coffee</strong> in the fridge so I poured myself a cup and also drank some water with it.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Feeling ambitious and ready to tackle the day, I decided to saute some<strong> zucchini and mushrooms,</strong> I also quickly <strong>baked some potatoes</strong> and put a <strong>couple eggs</strong> on top and that was our breakfast. It was quite tasty and easy to make. Man do I love breakfast.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">At around 830 my dad came over and was going to help us with another one of our projects. ATTIC CLEANING! UGh. Well I am glad we did it because we cleared a lot of space but I was a sweaty tired mess at the end.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">At around 1030 my stomach was rumbling so I snacked on a <strong>peach</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava decided she had enough and was ready for a nap. While she napped we took a break, I ran to the grocery store, did some laundry and got organized.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Marc and I ate lunch right around 12 because we had worked up a big appetite from cleaning. I made a big <strong>salad with romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, orange glazed chicken &amp; balsamic dressing and an orange on the side.</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>I also had 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter</strong>, yaaaaaaaaaa.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">After Ava woke up from her nap we decided to head to the beach to enjoy our last day of vacation. It turned out to be a nice afternoon and we were glad we went. Ava loved the water and literally didn&#8217;t want to leave. It made me so happy to see her having so much fun!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">When we got home around 3pm I had a <strong>Vanilla shakeology</strong>. I anticipated an early dinner so I didn&#8217;t want to fill my belly too much.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;">Yesterday Marc and I were productive from the second we woke up until the second we went to bed. We used Tuesday as a day to get stuff done around the house that we have been putting off for a long time. Weather wise yesterday was supposed to be the cloudy &amp; humid day for the week so it was the perfect day to skip the &#8220;fun&#8221; outdoor activities.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I had no plans or thoughts for my meals yesterday but they came together and they were all clean &amp; simple.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">We woke up at 6am which I&#8217;m actually thankful about because Ava has been waking us up at 5am for the past week so I felt like I slept in! I had a small cup of coffee and made us a quick breakfast. It wasn&#8217;t anything fancy because our fridge was EMPTY.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>2 over easy eggs with 2 pieces of toast with spinach!</strong> I was definitely feeling the carbs. I also had a bowl of blueberries.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">We took Cooper and Ava for a long walk. After our walk Marc and I headed into the basement to start organizing and making piles of stuff that needed to get dumped. Marc made 2 dump runs and I entertained Ava in the basement. She started to get a little tired so we took a break, ate a snack&#8230; I had a <strong>Chocolate Shakeology, a peach, and some trail mix</strong>. Ava had some trail mix, some cereal &amp; milk. That gave us a little more energy to keep cleaning until Ava took a nap.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Once Ava was asleep we were able to get a lot more done! I can honestly say that cleaning and going up and downstairs a zillion times is a great workout. I was DONE around lunch time.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Lunch was leftover <strong>chicken marsala with broccoli &amp; some potatoes.</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Once Ava was up from her nap we decided to spend our afternoon doing other things besides basement cleaning. We took a trip to the library to get some books, Ava really enjoyed it. We also made a quick trip to the grocery store to grab dinner. I did some &#8220;boot camp&#8221; work on the computer ate a bowl of <strong>oatmeal &amp; peanut butter.</strong></p>

<p>Time was flying and dinner was here before we knew it. Marc made <strong>Lemon Crusted Tilapia with suateed zucchini and sweet potatoes</strong>. Simple &amp; DELICIOUS. It was the perfect pre-workout dinner. I always like to eat a little lighter before my boot camp class.</p>

<p>After a SWEATY and I mean super sweaty class (I was soaked) I quickly showered and then had a <strong>Chocolate Quest Bar</strong> &amp; Some pan fried <strong>Plantains</strong>! Sorry no picture of the plantains, totally forgot.</p>

<p>Although we are on vacation, all of my meals were consumed at home because of our choice to organize and clean our basement. I&#8217;m happy we were so productive and got one of the things checked off our to-do list!! It felt great.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;">I&#8217;m super pumped it&#8217;s Wednesday already, the week is flying by and I think it&#8217;s because I took a vacation day on Monday!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Ava and I spent the day together and went to the beach, it was lovely!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">My morning started off WAY later then usual. After a weekend of less sleep Ava slept until 8am and I slept until 730am. This is totally rare but I loved it. It&#8217;s probably the latest I slept in a year. I started my morning with water and a little bit of coffee before realizing my stomach was grumbling. I quickly made <strong>2 eggs with sauteed spinach &amp; olive oil and a piece of whole grain toast</strong> (toast not pictured)</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">We took Cooper for a 25 minute walk and came home to quickly get ready for the beach. I made a <strong>Chocolate Shakeology with a banana and peanut butter</strong> to take with me in the car for a mid morning snack. I knew once we were at the beach I would be chasing Ava around so it would be tough to sit down and eat a snack.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">It was a gorgeous day to be at the beach. There were barely any clouds and the water was crystal clear. Ava and I had fun playing in the sand and water for a couple of hours.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">It was right around noon when Ava was getting tired so we headed to the showers to rinse off (there was about 2 lbs of sand in Ava&#8217;s hair. She thought it was funny to dump sand on her own head and there is definitely still some in there because it was nearly impossible to get it all out.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Lunch came around 1230. I had a <strong>big salad kale, cabbage, broccoli &amp; brussel sprouts with avocado, tomatoes &amp; grilled chicken plus some balsamic dressing.</strong> It was delicious and easy to throw together. I also snacked on some <strong>pumpkin seeds &amp; cranberries</strong>.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Ava napped for quite a while and I managed to get a bunch of computer work done, plus laundry, a workout &amp; a shower. I consider that to be productivity at its best. I wish I snapped a picture of myself after the workout because sweat was falling off my chin and my elbows. Kinda gross but kinda bad A$$.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I refueled after my workout with a <strong>greek yogurt plus a cup of blueberries and a random 1/2 sweet potato with butter!</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Marc told me he wanted burgers for dinner and I was feeling him on that one. It was 90 degrees out so I didn&#8217;t want to turn the oven on. While I made dinner I snacked on some cucumbers.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I decided to do a <strong>burger lettuce wrap with another 1/2 sweet potato and lots of yellow squash sautéed in olive oil</strong>. This was the juiciest burger I&#8217;ve had all summer and I&#8217;m so glad I could taste all the flavors. The bun usually takes some of that away!</p>
