The second trimester is in full effect and I’m loving every second of this great positive energy. I feel like I can accomplish anything right now and that’s amazing but also challenging at the same time!!

I know you are probably thinking, why is that challenging if you are feeling great?? Well, when it comes to exercise during pregnancy it’s not really okay to push your body to exhaustion with workouts or even daily activities. I have to remind myself some days that I’m pregnant and to SLOW down. Other days I really feel pregnant and don’t need the reminder but I have to constantly keep that thought in the back of my head. I’m sure in a couple of weeks I won’t have to EVER remind myself, but for right now I’ll enjoy feeling normal!

With that being said, this past Saturday I chose to do a workout at the gym that can really be done by anyone (not just pregnant ladies).

This workout incorporated both upper & lower body and I found my heart rate to be in a good range the whole time. During pregnancy it’s important to listen to your body so I rested when I needed to and drank water throughout this 30 minute workout. I also took a bathroom break. Yes, I have a weaker bladder these days.

Anyways, here’s the workout:

Warm Up

10 minutes of light cardio (I chose the elliptical) walking, biking or jogging is great too!

Krazy Kettlebell Circuit

Kettlebell Swings

Kettlebell Squat to Upright Row

Kettlebell Lunge to Row

Complete each exercise for 30 seconds, repeat circuit 5-7x (rest 30-60 seconds in between each round)

Cool down

Perform some light stretching or walking for 5-10 minutes

(20 weeks Pregnant)

I completed 5 rounds of the above circuit and my rest times got longer as each round passed. I used both a 20 & 25lb kettlebell for this circuit and while I felt I could do more weight I didn’t push it!

For Demonstrations of some of these exercises check out the links below.

With approximately 14 days remaining I am getting super excited to meet this little girl. When I am not working I am trying to pass time by doing everything I can possibly think of… cleaning, cooking, running errands, shopping, walking, working out, reading, watching movies.. etc. Being patient at this point is easier said then done, but with each day that passes I get more excited!

My doctor appointment was great this morning. Everything looks great with the baby, and I am 1cm Dilated and about 60% effaced! Making progress Keep your fingers crossed she makes an appearance before xmas.. thanks!

Pregnancy Fitness Update: This past week of exercise was great and the primary focus was on walking. My two strength workouts were from Group Power and I also participated in some of the boot camp class last tuesday.

Here is what Baby G has been up to this past week!!

38 WEEKS

THE BABY IS about 19-22 inches long, she is still the size of a watermelon, Weighing anywhere between 6-7 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: up 1/2 lb.. still up 22.2 lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

WORKOUTS:

TUESDAY Taught boot camp

WEDNESDAY 1 hour group power class (strength training)

THURSDAY 30 minute walk on the treadmill with a slight incline

FRIDAY 50 minute walk outside

SATURDAY OFF DAY

SUNDAY 20 minute walk with the dog

MONDAY Group Power (1 hour strength training) and taught senior fitness

FOOD AVERSIONS: I can’t think of any aversions from the past week.. I guess that’s because we ate a lot of the same turkey leftovers for a few days straight

FOOD CRAVINGS: chocolate.. for the first time I had a serious sweet craving and chocolate was it. I guess I might have been low in magnesium but I indulged in some plain M&M’s and a cookie that my mom made. My other cravings haven’t changed, I need fruit daily and lately it’s clementines and berries. I love yogurt parfaits and usually have that as a snack. Oh yeah 1 more craving TURKEY… I can’t get enough.

SLEEP: I can’t complain too much in the sleep department. Although getting up to pee is annoying, I am used to it and not phased at all. I do however feel super challenged when I try to roll out of bed! Can’t wait to have my abs back.. we take that for granted!

MATERNITY CLOTHES: No new maternity clothes. I think I should be okay up until the end with what I have now.

STRETCH MARKS: NONE

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I miss the usual, my old clothes, my pre-pregnancy workouts, sleeping through the night, laying on my back and my stomach.

MOVEMENT: Baby G’s little feet are always kicking my up my right rib cage, it is getting tighter in there so she must be trying to stretch out. Her hiccups are still daily and they are really low!

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: No baby purchases this week!

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON…

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: FLAT….

SYMPTOMS: braxton hicks contractions are more frequent, they are so annoying! I don’t get heartburn anymore which is fabulous.. so I can eat spicy food again! Too bad my tolerance for spice has gone down. I am a wimp.

LABOR SIGNS: Last night I had TONS of Braxton hicks contractions accompanied by some mild cramping. I will take that as a good sign!! Bring it on.

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: Doing some christmas shopping, I am running short on time so I really need to get it done. Also I have Marc’s 30th bday to shop for. ideas??

It feels great to say that I am officially FULL TERM with this pregnancy. This means Baby G can come whenever she is ready She seems to be pretty comfy though and I don’t feel like she’s ready to come just yet. 21 days and counting!!

Pregnancy Fitness Update: This past week my workouts were great, I did notice that I was a little shorter of breath and made sure to take rest and drink water as needed. I am still doing lighter weights with all my workouts but it feels good to exercise and move daily!

Here is what Baby G has been up to this past week!!

37 WEEKS

THE BABY IS about 19-20 inches long, the size of a small watermelon, Weighing anywhere between 5.5-6.5 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: my weight has been fluctuating but no actual gain this morning.. still up 21.6 lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

WORKOUTS:

TUESDAY Taught boot camp

WEDNESDAY 1 hour group power class (strength training)

THURSDAY taught boot camp and taught senior fitness

FRIDAY OFF/REST

SATURDAY 35 minute cardio fast-paced walk, it was cold out!

SUNDAY 20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical

MONDAY Group Power (1 hour strength training) and taught senior fitness

FOOD AVERSIONS: Last week I had no aversions, this week it was a struggle to add veggies into my diet. I went with the ones that worked. Mushrooms, green beans, and some kale in my pasta. Besides the veggies I didn’t have anything else that made me sick to my stomach!

FOOD CRAVINGS: This week I loved fruit, especially clementines & pineapple. speaking of I need to buy more. I also found myself craving protein, any kind.. chicken, turkey, greek yogurt, milk. I think the baby is growing!? I did have a craving for chocolate this weekend and indulged in a homemade low-fat brownie with some healthy vanilla ice cream. Delicious treat.

SLEEP: I sleep great but I wake up 2 times per night to pee now. It doesn’t phase me though, I go right back to sleep!!

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I bought a purple top to wear on Thanksgiving, it is a little longer so I plan to wear it with some skinny jeans and knee high boots.

STRETCH MARKS: NONE

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I really miss sleeping on my stomach this week and getting out of bed without thinking! It is taking more effort in the middle of the night. My abs don’t work like they used to

MOVEMENT: Baby G’s movements have changed. She is still active but its more kicking and stretching. I feel her feet a lot in the same spot on my side near my right rib cage. She also still gets hiccups daily which is always fun!

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: This past weekend we headed to buybuybaby to buy some remaining items that we need before the baby comes. Here are some of the items we purchased: hamper, pacifiers, more bottles, bottle cleaner, receiving blankets, some stroller accessories, a car seat sleeping bag (I made up that name), the list goes on and on! I can’t believe how much stuff such a tiny person needs.

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON…

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: FLAT….

SYMPTOMS: Some braxton hicks contractions but no other noticeable symptoms besides being tired at the end of the day!

LABOR SIGNS: Contractions.. i had a bunch on Sunday but still practice ones! My doctor appointment this morning was great, the baby is healthy and the doctor said my cervix is thinning.

Here is a comparison shot from 37 weeks and 30 1/2 weeks

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: Thanksgiving and a long weekend with family! Also looking forward to setting up some christmas decorations once the thanksgiving festivities are over.. I gotta get ahead on the xmas decor before the baby comes!

28 days and counting… It’s getting more real with each week that passes and I’m super anxious for the baby’s arrival! I feel so much more organized and prepared after this weekend’s productivity. The to-do list only has a couple items remaining and I don’t rushed at all! Such a great feeling.

Pregnancy Fitness Update: This past week I was pretty active but not any more then I have been in the past few weeks. In group power I pretty much coach everyone through the abs track. It’s nearly impossible to do ab exercises at this point. My range of motion on squats has gotten a bit smaller but on a sumo squats it is the same.

Here is what Baby G has been up to this past week!!

35 WEEKS

THE BABY IS about 19.5 inches long, the size of a Head of Romaine Lettuce, Weighing anywhere between 5-6 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: I didn’t gain anything this past week, still up a total of 21 lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

WORKOUTS:

TUESDAY Taught boot camp

WEDNESDAY 1 hour group power class (strength training)

THURSDAY taught boot camp and taught senior fitness

FRIDAY OFF/REST

SATURDAY cardio walk outside 20 mins, plus practice group power session at home (25mins)

SUNDAY cardio walk outside 20 mins

MONDAY Group Power (1 hour strength training) and taught senior fitness

FOOD AVERSIONS: None!! It is very nice to say that.. I ate veggies no problem and I even had some spicy salsa which I haven’t been able to eat my whole pregnancy!

FOOD CRAVINGS: I’m getting repetitive but fruit… and eggs & toast are a must daily. I also loved potatoes this week… any kind, mashed sweet potatoes, baked potato, and also some baked french fries. Yum.

SLEEP: Sleep has been good, I am more tired at night so I’ve been heading to bed a few minutes earlier. I also get up to pee 1-2x.. but it doesn’t really phase me. Good prep for the baby!

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I got a couple pairs of pajamas that I can wear in the hospital, they are cotton and super loose. Nothing special, but they look comfy!

STRETCH MARKS: still none, I’m keeping my fingers crossed nothing changes.

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I miss my old clothes, I miss my old workouts with boot camp style, I miss being able to run, I miss jumping, I miss seared ahi tuna, I miss chugging coffee (not like I did it a lot but I would if I could!)

MOVEMENT: Baby G is strong and she’s let me know a lot this week. Her feet can kick hard too and I thought I bruised a rib the other day! not joking.

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: No baby purchases this past week, but I did buy some stuff to pack for the hospital. It’s about time I got organized!

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON…

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: FLAT….

SYMPTOMS: It seems like I get more contractions on the weekend, probably because I do different activities! I had a tonnnn of braxton hicks contractions and a few painful ones walking around the store. Besides the contractions and a slight bruised rib from the baby girl’s kicks.. no other symptoms.

LABOR SIGNS: Contractions.. but they are the practice ones, I think!

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: Hanging with my girlfriends this Friday night… it has been a while since we were all together. I also can’t wait for thanksgiving and celebrating with family… and not shortly after Marc’s 30th bday in December.

Hitting the 35 week mark is making it feel like there’s really not that much time left! I have 35 days until the baby potentially arrives…. give or take a few if she comes early or late. Either way I want a healthy baby so she can come when she’s ready. Just please don’t come on xmas haha.

Pregnancy fitness update: My strength workouts this past week were 2 group power classes, which seems to be plenty. During the class I am modifying the abs-track by coaching through some of the sit-ups that are completely flat on the step. I chose lighter weights last week which seemed to help and I wasn’t sore at all this week. For cardio, I did some biking and elliptical (very light intensity) and on the Friday-Sunday were walks outside! I have a feeling walking will be my go to cardio pretty soon.

My doctor’s appointment this morning went well. Baby is doing great and measuring right on track. The doctor did ask me to slow down for the next 10 days… what does slowing down mean? I guess less exercise for me. Which means finding a sub for my group power class next week She said once I hit 37 weeks I can do whatever…

Here is what Baby G has been up to this past week!!

35 WEEKS

THE BABY IS about 19.5 inches long, the size of a honey dew melon, Weighing about 5.5 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: gained 1lb this past week, total up 21 lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

WORKOUTS:

TUESDAY Taught boot camp

WEDNESDAY 1 hour group power class (strength training)

THURSDAY taught boot camp and taught senior fitness

FRIDAY 20 minutes light cardio elliptical, walk with Cooper at Bruce Park

SATURDAY cardio walk outside 25 mins

SUNDAY cardio walk outside 30 mins

MONDAY Group Power (1 hour strength training) and taught senior fitness

FOOD AVERSIONS: Spinach again!! I feel like I am back in my 1st trimester. Some vegetables are just grossing me out. I am focusing on eating the ones that are appealing and avoiding the ones that aren’t right now.

FOOD CRAVINGS: As usual fruit, but I like carbs too. Whole grain bread, homemade pumpkin oat-cookies, salty snacks like thin-triscuits with sea salt (only 3 ingredients), I also still love breakfast (eggs & Toast) I will eat it any time of day if you want to make it for me.

SLEEP: believe it or not last night slept through the night and I am still comfortable sleeping. Every other night this past week I get up once to pee. NOT BAD!!

MATERNITY CLOTHES: Nothing new. I only plan on getting a holiday outfit for thanksgiving and hopefully wearing what I have up until the end. My mom also gave me a couple of winter coats she had.. and they fit!!

STRETCH MARKS: None…

Baby Bump Picture post group power workout

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I really missed laying on my stomach this weekend, it is getting annoying laying on my side all the time. I also miss getting up easier. When I am laying down on the couch, floor or bed I actually have to think about getting up where as before I would just pop right up.

MOVEMENT: Baby G’s movements are strong and her kicks to my ribs are a little more alarming. I literally jump when she kicks me. She hiccups usually 2x per day. Once in the morning and once at night and they last for a minute each time. It’s nuts!

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: I purchased a cute animal print onesie, some baby headbands, a xmas ornament for the baby, and we got a lovely bag of goodies from one of my co-workers. She made us a baby blanket, bought us some cute onesies, and an adorable osh-kosh overalls outfit!!

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON…

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: FLAT…. seems like it once to come out but I don’t think I am ready for it.

SYMPTOMS: Friday and Saturday in the middle of the night around 330-4am I woke up to some stomach cramping. It was hard to fall back asleep and kept me up for a good hour. I’m assuming they are false contractions. Part of the preparation for the delivery. Yesterday I had a couple of pretty intense contractions while we were shopping at the grocery store. They got sharper as I walked and calmed down when I took a seat. So.. Yesterday afternoon was spent relaxing!!

LABOR SIGNS: some contractions, but they aren’t frequent enough to be labor!! Plus it’s too early, we need to keep her in there for 2 more weeks.

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: Getting our bookshelves on the wall. Yesterday marc hung our curtain rod and we put the pink ruffle curtains up.. very cute! Everything in the baby’s room is coming together!

I have been receiving a lot of comments this past week, from members/clients at the gym asking if I am still allowed to exercise, and should I still be doing what I am doing while pregnant?

So should you exercise while pregnant? The answer varies! Every pregnancy is different, and the fact that I was working out and exercising regularly prior to getting pregnant it was okay to continue during my pregnancy. Here are some changes I have made to my prenatal exercise regimen:

I choose lighter weights or normal weights that I can do without straining and perform higher repetition (I am not trying to gain strength I am maintaining my fitness)

I do not perform any exercises flat on my back, it is harder for me to breath and the baby won’t get enough oxygen

As an instructor the talk test works for me, if I can’t talk through my exercise I need to slow down

I drink throughout my entire workout to stay well hydrated

The most important thing I do is listen to my body, if something doesn’t feel right I immediately stop

I have avoided numerous pregnancy symptoms through exercising… I have no swelling, I don’t waddle or walk uncomfortably, my digestive system hasn’t slowed down, I have no real cravings, I sleep comfortably, I have no back pain, and I’ve had steady weight growth.

My doctors have been very supportive of my job and fitness. They encouraged me to stay active as long as I had no discomfort or abdominal pain. There were a few days in my 3rd trimester I was asked not to exercise due to some contractions but besides that exercise has helped me get through the last 7 1/2 months of my pregnancy. I feel super blessed that I have stayed active and it has helped me stay strong and comfortable!!

Every pregnancy is different, and you should always consult with your doctor about exercising while pregnant.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN I will be dressing up as an 80’s workout instructor for my boot camp class tonight!!

Last night we made healthy homemade wheat pizza for dinner, it was quite delicious! We had 2 pizzas, 1/2 mushrooms and 1/2 cheese with fresh basil, and then one with chicken, spinach, peppers, and gorgonzola. We cut them into little squares, and I had a couple of each, I would highly recommend making your own pizzas!

After dinner, Cooper laid on me and I swear he was feeling some baby movements with his paw! Or at least I am pretending he knew what was going on.

So my baby countdown has begun.. 49 days!! That sounds crazy to say because it sounds so soon, but Marc and I are so excited for the big day. I feel very organized and we have accomplished so much around the house, but I do feel like there’s a lot more to do. Does your to-do list ever end? I don’t think so..

Pregnancy Fitness update: this past week I didn’t exercise as much as I had planned on originally. I think my body needed a break. Ab work is as usual getting more difficult, the belly just gets in the way!! I am hoping to get in some light weight strength workouts this week and my cardio of choice lately is outdoor walks since the fall weather has been awesome.

Here’s what has been going on this past week with BABY G:

33 WEEKS

THE BABY IS about 18.5 inches long, the size of a PINEAPPLE, Weighing about 4.5 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: total up 19 lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

WORKOUTS:

TUESDAY OFF

WEDNESDAY OFF

THURSDAY taught boot camp

FRIDAY Group Power (1 hour strength training)

SATURDAY cardio walk outside

SUNDAY cardio walk outside

MONDAY Group Power (1 hour strength training) and taught senior fitness

FOOD AVERSIONS: At this point I do have some aversions but I just stay away from them. So this week I didn’t run into any trouble

FOOD CRAVINGS: I really wanted steak, a baked potato, and broccoli on Sunday night and that’s what we had for dinner! It was great. I think eggs and toast are a craving or staple now. I don’t feel complete in the morning without it! I love fruit.. any kind, berries, pineapple, apples, bananas. I wish I could eat it all day.

SLEEP: Sleeps been pretty good, I feel blessed. I only get up 1 time per night to pee and it doesn’t bother me.

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I bought a couple new long sleeve tops this weekend at Old navy but they weren’t maternity. They were super comfy though and a little bit longer so very cute with leggings.

STRETCH MARKS: None… phew

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I miss the usual, laying on my stomach and doing boot camp style workouts. If my doctor said it was okay I would probably still be doing burpees and jump rope! haha

MOVEMENT: she’s getting stronger. When she moves it is a little more uncomfortable probably because she weighs more now.

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: Marc and I went shopping and bought 2 little newborn onesies. One that says my first christmas (lets hope she’s born before then) and a red “I love my daddy” onesie… so cute

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON… thankfully no swelling.

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: the belly button is officially FLAT…. weird!

SYMPTOMS: some symptoms I had this week were contractions, yes contractions.. I had about 4 in an hour last Tuesday and on Friday they did a test and I had 3 in an hour. We don’t need Baby G coming this soon. I haven’t been tired, I’m hoping the tiredness that everyone talks about in the 3rd trimester never comes. I feel pretty good!

LABOR SIGNS: some contractions but not too frequent

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: this weekend as usual! We are going to hang some bookshelves in the nursery. I am also hoping the weather is nice, because walking Cooper is my go to low impact exercise on the weekends now.

I can finally say that time is starting to slow down.. are these last 8 weeks going to take forever?? I need to keep busy and not focus on the december 17th due date!

Pregnancy Fitness update: This past week has been great. I have had good energy over all and really no major complaints! I didn’t get in as many workouts from Friday-Sunday because of all my baby shower errands. I knew that this week was going to be jam packed so I took advantage of not working out for a few days. As far as fitness goes, I don’t feel any different, and I don’t really get too short of breath. I can’t do jumping exercises and I’m super limited on my ab exercises. The ab work that I do is challenging and I have a very short range of motion on every exercise.

Members, clients, family, and friends have made comments/questions about how long I can work for or how long I can continue exercising and teaching classes. The answer is ….as long as the doctor says it’s fine I am going to continue! Exercise keeps me mentally focused and I feel good after any type of workout even if its a walk with the dog. Staying strong through this pregnancy has helped me in so many ways. I have no mental stress, no back pain, no swelling anywhere on my body, & no stretch marks. I have also noticed on days that I exercise I sleep better. When I am not active I have a hard time falling asleep.

This coming week I am teaching 7 classes on top of training.. so I think come Saturday I will want a day off

Here’s what has been going on this past week with BABY G:

32 WEEKS

THE BABY IS about 18-18.5 inches long, the size of a honeydew melon, Weighing about 4- 4.5 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: gained close to 1/2lb this past week so I’m up 18 – 18 1/2 lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

(These aren’t ideal photos of my belly but I had no one to take a picture of me this morning, I will take more tonight!)

FOOD AVERSIONS: Not too many this week. Just the usual, plain veggies. Also, mexican food still makes me gag… will I ever like it again?

FOOD CRAVINGS: Did you guys know I like pumpkin?? haha, bring it on. Pumpkin muffins, bread, pumpkin oat bars, pumpkin coffee.. at least it’s all healthy. That’s because I make the food myself. I dont really care for all the processed preservative stuff. My mom made chicken cutlets last week and I loved them, when they ran out I was devastated.

SLEEP: Sleeps been pretty good, I sleep through the night for the most part.. but I am going to bed later then normal.

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I bought my baby shower top at Destination Maternity. It was black lace with a cute ribbon around the top of my baby bump.

STRETCH MARKS: None, yet

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I miss laying on my stomach, rolling out of bed easier, wearing all my cute fall tops from last year, running, having a glass of wine… non of this stuff bothers me but when I think about it I guess I sorta miss it.

MOVEMENT: Movement is an understatement, Baby G is non-stop…. just like her mama haha. Her movements are becoming stronger and they aren’t subtle. I feel her little feet near my ribs a lot. Kinda uncomfortable!

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: We haven’t purchased anything but we got TONS of gifts at the shower.

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: Looking more flat these days

SYMPTOMS: Not too many symptoms this week. I’d say a little less sleep, peeing a lot more, eating a lot more, and a little more tired!

LABOR SIGNS: NONE, but it is still early

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: Setting up the rest of the nursery with all the new stuff we got from the Baby Shower!!

HAPPY OCTOBER!

We have 11 weeks left and I am definitely counting down!! I can honestly say that I am getting so excited and anxious for the baby to arrive. I feel like time is going by fast but I wouldn’t mind speeding up a bit more!

I had a Dr’s appointment this morning, everything looks great and is measuring right on track!! I have been feeling pretty good (minus the foot set back) and I am looking forward to the weeks to come!

Here’s what’s been going onnnnn:

29 WEEKS

THE BABY IS close to 17 inches long the size of a butternut squash, Weighing about 3.1 lbs

WEIGHT GAINED: gained 0.5lb up to about 17lbs

GENDER: It’s a girl!!!

29 Weeks

29 weeks

WORKOUTS:

My workouts this past week were not really existent compared to the week before. Since injuring my foot and being put in a walking boot I haven’t been doing too much and trying to rest as much as possible. I am okay on the bike for cardio but that is it for now. Upper body strength workouts are going to be on the schedule for next week!

TUESDAY 20 minutes bike, 10 minutes elliptical

WEDNESDAY DR’S and found out I need the walking boot. Taught boot camp class in the evening

THURSDAY taught 1 hour boot camp class and taught senior fitness

FRIDAY 20 minutes light cardio on stationary bike

SATURDAY 20 minute bike interval

SUNDAY practice 1 hour group power session (light weights)

MONDAY REST DAY

FOOD AVERSIONS:

FOOD CRAVINGS: I really wanted pumpkin this weekend so I made a batch of Pumpkin bran muffins they were pretty good, I still LOVE fruit and strawberries have been tastier to me, pumpkin coffee is my go to in the morning even though I only have 1/2 cup, I can’t live without eggs they fuel me up for my day, & on Friday night I craved a can of tuna so that was my dinner and it was quite satisfying.

SLEEP: Sleep has been great, I have only woken up a couple times here or there to pee in the middle of the night. Last night I had a hard time falling asleep due to a stuffy nose. I am not sure if it is the weather or allergies?

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I got to wear some of my new clothes from old navy and the leggings fit great. They are low rise and very comfortable.

STRETCH MARKS: None, yet!

DO I MISS ANYTHING: I am not going to lie, this weekend when everyone was drinking pumpkin & october fest beers it made me feel left out. Water just didn’t seem like a fun drink! On Sunday I was practicing a workout and went to go try out an ab exercise and it just wasn’t working. The baby’s position took over and I wasn’t able to do it!! very frustrating but expected at this point. I know there’s not much room in my belly!

MOVEMENT: she’s a mover as we already know. This weekend I had a few crazy moments where my belly looked like it was shaking from side to side. Either she was dancing or kickboxing but it was quite funny and creepy at the same time.

These pictures were taken just shy of 29 weeks (over the weekend)

BABY ITEMS PURCHASED: nothing purchased

WEDDING RINGS ON or OFF: ON

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT: still in… but definitely making its way to flat or popping out!

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: My Rhode Island baby shower this weekend with Marc’s family. It will be so nice to see his family and some of our friends.
